Andhra Pradesh — Nivi Drape

Nivi Drape: Similar to the Nivi drape of Uttar Pradesh, this style involves pleating the saree at the waist and draping the pallu over one shoulder, commonly worn by Telugu-speaking women, and is one of the most commonly worn saree drape in modern times.

Kappulu Drape: The Kappulu saree, a traditional attire of women from the Kappulu caste in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, follows a unique draping method. Unlike the usual style, this saree is draped from left to right. The distinctive draping technique involves pleating the saree in a particular manner to form a sequence of folds and loops around the waist. Afterward, the saree is wrapped around the body once, and the pleats are neatly tucked in at the waist.
